Jon Younger is a founding partner of the Agile Talent Collaborative and partner emeritus of the RBL Group. While with RBL, he built and led the firm’s Strategic HR Management practice, and was a director of the RBL Institute. As a partner of the Agile Talent Collaborative, he writes, speaks and consults on talent management in the on-demand economy, coaches senior executives, and teaches change leadership, HR transformation and strategic talent management at the executive level.
Jon’s career combines experience in consulting, executive management, and HR leadership. Prior to joining the RBL Group he was corporate SVP and Chief Learning and Talent Officer of one of the largest U.S. based financial services organizations, responsible for leadership development, corporate learning, staffing, performance management, succession planning and executive compensation.
Earlier, he was a Managing Partner of the Novations Group, a boutique global consulting firm, and led the firm’s acquisition by Provant (NASDAQ). He was also EVP COO of NetValue USA, the French Internet firm, and led a global internal consulting team for Exxon Mobil’s chemical businesses.
Jon holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Toronto where he was an Ontario Graduate Scholar and Canada Council Research Fellowship recipient. He teaches in the Executive Education faculties of the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan and the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, has been an invited lecturer in many other universities and in corporate executive education programs worldwide.
He and his wife Carolyn divide their time between rural Connecticut and NYC. Their sons Josh and Aaron are grown and out in the world.
