Christoph Lueneburger, based in New York, is a trusted advisor across financial industries. He led Egon Zehnder’s global Private Equity Practice, having previously founded and scaled the firm’s Sustainability Practice.
Before Egon Zehnder, Christoph was a partner in a private equity firm, where he led investments in the water sector. Previously, he ran a European advanced materials manufacturer. Having started his career as a scientist, Christoph holds several patents and was seconded to a North American boat builder, where he led the biodynamic design for a record-breaking rowing shell.
Christoph holds undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, where he was subsequently awarded an MS in Fluid Dynamics. He has an MBA from INSEAD and is a Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Christoph is the author of A Culture of Purpose (John Wiley & Sons, 2014).
